Chosen to open the show at Music Midtowns prestigious songwriters in the round televised live on Turner South featuring writers the late June Carter Cash, Tony Rich, Kevn Kinney, Angie Aparo, Peter Buck of REM and Cindy from the b-52s. She later performed for an audience of over 1,000 on the 99X Locals Only stage directly across from pop megastars Garbage and No Doubt.
2002 W.A.M. Fest showcasing and celebrating up and coming and pioneering women in music w/ Patty Griffin, Bitch and Animal, and Toshi Reagon.

1999 Lilith Fair Tour (photos from Lilith Fair '99). She shared stage and microphone with Sarah McLachlan, Sinead OConnor, Suzanne Vega and The Indigo Girls. Sarah and the Indigo Girls asked her to solo on both nights after seeing her perform on the side stage.

MUSIC, MUSIC, MUSIC
Hurricane Doria Records independent imprint out of Atlanta, GA has national distribution with Red Eye, Ladyslipper and Goldenrod. HD Records has been "Spinning the Winds of Change since 1995", produces Dorias albums, has produced two compilations and houses five other artists. Dorias fifth independent release "Alive & Well" is a 26 track double live album featuring 15 new songs, live band and solo performances as well as spoken word, storytelling and a studio track. Her sixth release "Simple Life" is due out August 2004.
The work with her label (which has sold over 25,000 pieces and counting) is featured in a documentary about women making significant contributions to independent music entitled "Hitting the Right Chord" (formerly "For the Love of Rock"). Dorias live segment and interview are prominently featured in the film. The documentary also includes contributions from Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls, Melissa Ferrick, and Kate Shellenbach of Luscious Jackson.

COMMUNITY
As a part time activist, Doria has committed herself to inspiring compassion, social action and change through her music and various projects. She has been inspired by Nina Simone’s "Mississippi Goddamn", Odetta’s "Another Man Done Gone", Janis Ian’s "Society’s Child, Billie Holiday’s "Strange Fruit", John Lennon’s elegy "Working Class Hero", and almost everything by Ani DiFranco, and Patti Smith. The personal experience sometimes becomes political and the stage sometimes becomes a foruma space not only to entertain, but to also inform.
1996 - Present - Queerstock Festival - Executive Producer showcases and supports g/l/b/t/ artists
2004 Present - Black Eyed Susans Founder / Executive Producer showcases women of color artists and musicians through various tribute events honoring women of color artists, thinkers, educators, activists
2002 "Queer Stock, Queer Soup" Compilation Executive Producer - The 30 track double disc benefits queer youth agencies around the country. Tracks include Ani DiFranco, Melissa Ferrick, Tret Fure, Pansy Division, Alix Olson, Bitch & Animal, Phranc, Toshi Reagon, Alix Dobkin and Urvashi Vaid (liner notes).
2002 - Ladyfest South Festival - Co-Producer and Project Advisor / "Southern Belles Raising Hell" Compilation (32 track double disc) - Executive Producer Showcased - Four day, seventeen venue festival showcasing over 100 female and female identified artists in theater, spoken, word, music, and visual arts. raising funds and awareness for two southern based domestic violence prevention agencies.
1998 - Rock for Youth - Founder - concert series for all youth in crisis. Rock for Youth concert was held in Atlanta with performances by Roberts, John Mayer and Matthew Kahler and benefited Nucis Space, a state of the art rehearsal, mental health counseling and mentoring facility for artists.
1997-"Thrive" Compilation (donated track) benefits Youth Pride, Inc. which mentors g/l/b/t youth. The disc included donated tracks from the Indigo Girls, Shawn Mullins, and the Josh Joplin Group
